Folinq Rules
Folinq is a professional home for works, reading, conversation and collaboration among readers, writers and publishers. These rules protect literary freedom, user safety and publishing quality.
Core principle
Literary work, criticism, satire and sharp commentary are welcome as long as they do not become threats, harassment, hate, privacy violations or impersonation.
User responsibility
Every user is responsible for the content they publish, upload, repost or send, including text, images, PDFs, audio, video, comments and private messages.
1. Account and identity
- Misleading names, photos or identity details used to deceive others are not allowed.
- Users must protect their account, password and access.
- Folinq may ask publishers, active writers or sensitive accounts for additional verification.
2. Works and copyright
- Published works must respect copyright, publisher rights and third-party rights.
- Uploading books, files, images or audio without proper publishing rights is prohibited.
- Quotation, review and reference should be fair, clear and consistent with literary and legal norms.
3. Prohibited content
- Threats, encouragement of violence, targeted harassment or coordinated abuse.
- Hate against people or groups based on identity, belief, gender, ethnicity, religion or personal status.
- Sharing private information, private images, phone numbers, addresses or personal documents without permission.
- Spam, fraud, impersonation, malicious links and abuse of private messages.
4. Comments and private messages
Conversation should be clear, respectful and relevant to the work. Strong criticism is allowed; personal humiliation, stalking, threats and misuse of private messages can be reviewed.
5. Reports and moderation
- Users can report suspicious works, comments, messages or accounts.
- Depending on severity, the management team may hide, limit, remove or hold content for review.
- Important cases can be appealed through support.
6. Purchases, downloads and books
Purchased and downloaded books appear in the user shelf. The creator or publisher is responsible for file accuracy, pricing, descriptions and publishing rights.
7. Changes to rules
Folinq may update these rules for safety, product quality or legal requirements. Continued use of the service means acceptance of the current rules.
